To this end the case method requires the practice of

               managerial skills such as:


                   •  diagnosing,


                   •  making decisions,

                   •  observing,

                   •  listening, and

                   •  persuading




               while preparing for case discussion, presentation or course

               work submission.


               The Faecal Recognition case study is a simple case study in

               that it does not contain a plethora of detail but, what it does

               contain is the ability for everyone to associate with the case
               content and have an opinion upon what management

               decided to do and what customers require of the business

               offering.


               Even if there is not great length to the case study there is

               nevertheless, tremendous depth which allows useful and

               productive discussion to develop.

               are likely to emerge from any discussion of the case study.
