It was February 2013 and Hazel Hopper thought all her
birthdays had arrived at the one time
The breaking scandal on the substitution of beef with
horse meat seemed to reinforce her belief that now was
the time to develop her business through franchising its
concept.
Hazel had set up her business the "Rabbit Farm" with the
view of providing a quality product developed along ethical
lines with clear and demonstrable product origins.
In the five years since she started the business she had
created a market presence and profitability that many in
the industry envied.
