Implementation probably poses the greatest challenge to

management. If a strategy is to fail it is likely to fail because
its implementation was flawed. Successful management

means effective management. It requires management to

translate strategy into the day-to-day life of the

organisation. It requires leadership which controls the
impact of the strategy on organisational structure and

culture.

Monitor

Once a strategy has been chosen and the process of

implemented starts it must be monitored to assess the

impact the strategy is having both internally and externally.
