example is found in Kirin’s involvement in Sri Lanka where it

               “funds training for tea growers to obtain Rainforest Alliance
               certification for sustainable agriculture. Kirin also donates

               textbooks to primary schools in tea growing locales. Such

               actions help us achieve fair trade and sustainable sourcing,

               whilst furthering environmental conservation, sustainability,

               In addition, the Kirin Group established the Kirin Group

               Plastic Policy in February 2019 to specifically address the

               issue of plastic waste, one of the most pressing
               environment-related social issues. The Group promotes the

               sustainable use of plastic and resource circulation such as

               the use of plastic containers, packaging, and other items by

               group companies.



               Furthermore, Kirin Group revised its action plan, the Kirin
               Group CSV Commitment, (See Appendix 4) with the aim of

               achieving its CSV Purpose. This revised CSV Commitment

               had been positioned as a non-financial target for the “2019-

               2021 Kirin Group Medium-Term Business Plan”, and was to
               be implemented as a Groupwide effort.



               At the heart of CSV is Kirin’s results focused management

               which was key to raising corporate value and attaining

               sustainable growth. For management whilst fulfilling its
               responsibility as an alcohol producer, attempted to create

               value by addressing social issues in the key areas of health

               and well-being, community engagement, and the

               environment and by addressing these issues, it would help
