Mission / Vision
Mission: We are passionate about making delicious food for people to
share with pleasure.
Vision: To make the most delicious food enjoyed by 10 million people a
year by 2020.
STRATEGY/STRUCTURE
At the beginning of every year Bigham
set out a business plan. These plans
were not simply a paper exercise they
were there to ensure that his team were
getting better every year: more
experienced, bringing in new people and promoting from within,
building his sales base.
Bigham saw growth as being comfortable at between 15% to 50%
where quality could be controlled as well as the culture of the business
and people. It was important also to grow people along with the
business.
“I'm also tremendously proud of the team of people I
have around me – we set out at the beginning to be a
good employer above all, and out of the 200 staff we
have 150 have worked with us for at least two years,
and between 50 and 60 people have been here for
five years. Another 10 and 16 have been with us for
10 years. We can only continue to be good by having
good people.”
