2009 Lifelong Learning and Service

Recognition Award

Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition (LLSR) is given to those Masters of Academy of General
Dentistry (MAGD) who wholly embrace the AGD’s core principles and ideals even after achieving
Mastership. They continue their commitment to lifelong learning, volunteer their services to communi-
ties in need, act as mentors to associates and new dentists, and act as a voice of general dentistry by par-
ticipating in organized dentistry. There are four distinct steps that need to be accomplished in order to
earn the prestigious LLSR. NYSAGD is proud to recognize this year’s recipient, Dr. Janice Pliszczak,
DDS, MS, MBA, MAGD. Not only is she the first female president of the NYSAGD, she is also its first
female recipient of the LLSR Award. Congratulations, Dr. Pliszczak!
