enormous difference in my recovery and the well-
being of my clients.
If you suffer from PTS(D)*, C-PTS(D)* and/or LAS-
Legal Abuse Syndrome*, I suggest you work with an
experienced therapist or practitioner. Do NOT
revisit the trauma!
The latest research shows that it is NOT necessary
(even superfluous) to relive the awful and
traumatic “stuff’ that happened. We can delete or
transform the emotional intensity or the energy
that prevents us from functioning without “going
back there.” The memory and the wisdom of what
happened will still be there, yet without
disempowering reaction or overwhelming
emotions.
Take heart: there is a
light at the end of the
proverbial tunnel; it’s
not always another
oncoming train.
Or maybe, you will discover that, “The light at the
end of the tunnel is not an illusion, the tunnel is.”
