with his position with FGMA. Since joining us in February 2022, Leonard has established updates on
BUZZ for webinars for the staff to attend as well as “Tech Minute” information on building envelope
points of interest. He is up to date on building envelope systems, and this has allowed him to create
an FGMA standard for Building Enclosure Process Protocols. He has jumped into the FGMA standard
detail collection to review and markup as appropriate and he will continually monitor these standards
to keep current. He has created an update to the building code template standard as an excel
spreadsheet to be used and incorporated on the code drawing sheets. He is currently reviewing our
specification vendor and working to establish a unified/singular specification software system to
implement into firmwide use, he is working with a team on updating our Project Delivery Manual
(PDM) from a static document to a live, online and continually updated document which will reside on
BUZZ with links to current information.

Moving into FY23, Leonard will continue to be more involved with refining our process to allow us to
raise the quality of our design. I would like everyone in the firm to keep in mind, Leonard is available
and very easy to approach, and everyone should feel comfortable reaching out to him as a resource on
anything on our documentation process. He is always available and loves to solve any technical
challenges that arise on our projects.

As the Sustainability Leader, Lucy Williams has begun to assist us
our commitment of the strategic plan objectives include fully
integrating sustainability, resilience, and wellness in all our work by
                                             2025. These goals include:

                                                                                 • Demonstrating
improvement in all sustainability, resiliency and wellness
                                                       metrics across all projects.
                                                                                 • Ensuring 100% of
FGMA offices are consistent with quality design work and
commitments to sustainability, resilience, and wellness.

The intention of this new position is to serve as a springboard for
FGMA to expand our service offerings, reputation and expertise in these topics as well as raise the
quality, consistency, impact, and efficiency of our work. Pushing this strategic initiative forward is an
opportunity for FGMA to rethink and reform our process and product to one of design excellence that
includes sustainability, resilience, and wellness across our entire portfolio.

Using the current strategic plan, the 2021 Sustainability Action Plan, and feedback received from the
recently issued sustainability survey, a roadmap has been outlined. It suggests a plan for achieving our
strategic goals by focusing on four key topics:

                   • Pipeline: incorporate sustainability, resilience and wellness into our marketing process.
                   • People: expand staff skills and knowledge.
                   • Process: fully integrate sustainability, resilience, and wellness into our design services and
                       workflow.
                   • Projects: develop firm-wide consistent protocols and deliverables.

The roadmap recommends a three-step approach to transition the firm towards integrative design:

                   • Awareness: internal knowledge sharing and establishing guiding principles and policies.
                   • Advocacy: talking to each other, clients, consultants & product representatives.
