Leadership Positions in Organizations
Ron Richardson on both the IASBO Sustainable Professional Development Committee and
the DuPAge Illinois Association of School Business Officials Fundraising Committee
Steve Raskin on MO AIA Board of Directors and QBS Committee, St. Louis Construction
Forum Education Foundation STEM Outreach Committee, A4LE, Missouri SAVE Coalition,
and the National Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Resilience Committee.
Goal 3: Client retention.
FY17 UPDATE:
Focused on developing existing client relationships that go three deep – PIC to Superintendent,
PM to CSBO, and PA to Buildings and Grounds Director. We have spent more time getting to know
clients on a personal level though sharing of meals in the course of projects and at conferences.
Goal 4: Blow our own horn.

This year particular efforts were made to obtaining increased speaking opportunities. This resulted

FY17 UPDATE:
As stated earlier we have realigned and focused our efforts primarily on expanding opportunities
in Missouri, new opportunities in Wisconsin, reactive in Indiana, and potential new opportunities in
Texas.
PROJECT MILESTONES
This year was highlighted by the completion of many of the typical sorts of summer projects that
we often see in our practice area – health life safety and small renovation and/or addition
projects. A SO Region list of these would include: the Mt. Vernon HS Greenhouse, the Sparta
classroom addition, Alton Mark Twain renovations for a K-12 Special Education School, Roxanna
