this past year include a new North Park Elementary School and a new Early Learning Center for
River Trails School District 26 that could become FGM’s first net zero project.

The new 300,000 square foot Mt. Vernon Township High School is a replacement for the existing 13
building historic campus. The program is a career academy approach to high school curriculum
that addresses the needs of students who will continue to secondary education and students who
will proceed directly into the workforce. A lengthy community and collaborative process led to
the design of the building that is a reflection not only of the curriculum but of the community it
serves.
