2023 was another great year for Ensign Fleet 35. We had 16 boats
signed up for racing with 12 to 14 regularly on the line. It was a pretty
nice summer in Marquette and we were fortunate enough to get 14
Wednesday night races completed. Zeb Seaborg in #29 eh? won the
season easily with 17 points. Once again, the usual suspects were in
the top five with Jim Knape, Neil Lynch, Mike Sauer, and Doug Tosa
finishing second through fifth. Our fleet continues to grow with the
addition of Miles Wenger buying Ensign #1584.

The most notable Fleet 35 accomplishment this year was Mike
Derusha’s win at Nationals! We are incredibly proud of Mike and his
team for their win. Mike is one of the Midwest's greatest sailors and we
are honored to have him as a member of our fleet. It is truly a privilege
to sail with and against him.

Fleet 35 is looking forward to another great year and we wish all of our
Ensign friends safe and happy sailing in 2024!
