Infused Sugar
Makes ¾ cup sugar
Infused sugars make a unique sweetener in your favorite tea, substitute for plain sugar in
baking recipes, or garnish on the rim of cocktail glasses.
INGREDIENTS
¾ cup sugar
Add-in Options
2 teaspoons Earl Grey tea (removed from bag), or
2 teaspoons chai tea (removed from bag), or
2 tablespoons food-grade lavender buds, or
1 tablespoon lemon/or lime/or orange zest, or
2 tablespoons finely crushed freeze-dried strawberries
Special Tools
1 (8-oz.) mason jar and lid, sterilized
INSTRUCTIONS
1 Combine the sugar and the option of your choice in a bowl and
whisk until thoroughly combined. Transfer to mason jar and seal
