Applicable to BMW 1.6 (N40 / N45) TwinCam petrol engines.
Fitted to BMW 1 Series (E81/E87) and 3 Series (E46/E90).
(Engine codes: N40 B16A, N45 B16A, N45T B16AC)
Tool set for the locking/positioning of camshafts and crankshaft, as well as for pre-
tensioning the timing chain tensioner. The kit also includes a tool to adjust the
VANOS adjustment units. Indispensable kit when replacing a timing chain, removing
and installing VANOS adjustment units or performing an engine repair.

Very useful tool set for locking/positioning balance shafts, locking the timing chain
tensioner, as well as for holding the crankshaft in position while loosening/tightening
the crankshaft central screw.
