Applicable to BMW 2.0 4-cylinder Diesel engines (M47), 2.5 and 3.0 6-cylinder
Diesel engines (M51, M57) as found in BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series,
7 Series, X3, X5, X6.
(Engine codes: 204D4, 256D2, 306D2, 306D3, 306D4, 306D5, D30T2, YD30T2)
Designed for the locking/positioning of engine shafts such as camshafts and
crankshaft, as well as of the flywheel and timing chain tensioner. An indispensable
tool set when replacing a timing chain or performing an engine repair.
Note: For turning the crankshaft, the KL-0580-823 A crankshaft tool (accessory) is needed.

Tool for fixing the injection pump sprocket and pushing out the injection pump shaft.
Necessary when removing an injection pump. 6
