Timing Belt Sprocket Extractor/Reaction Tool
Applicable to injection pump and timing belt sprockets as found in Nissan,
Renault, Dacia and Suzuki 1.5 dCi/DDiS Common Rail Diesel engines. Fitted, e.g.,

Suitable for use on perforated injection pump and timing belt sprockets with a pitch
circle diameter of from 70-100mm. The hole diameter should not be less than
16.5mm; also suitable for slotted holes with a width of 15mm. In conjunction with a
1/2“ reversible ratchet, the timing belt sprocket extractor/reaction tool is used to hold
the injection pump-/ timing belt sprocket in position while loosening/tightening the
central fixing screw. It also allows for the removal of the timing belt sprocket from the
camshaft/injection pump shaft without risk of damage. An indispensable tool set
when changing the coolant pump allowing the user to remove the injection pump
sprocket located in front of the pump.

This tool set is designed for the easy and professional removal of camshaft hubs. It is
required, for example, when replacing the cylinder head gasket on 1.9 litre engines,
when removing and replacing the camshaft, and for the repair of engines/cylinder
heads. The KL-0282-391 reaction wrench enables the camshaft hub fixing screw to
be loosened and tightened correctly. The KL-0282-392 puller allows for the accurate
removal of the camshaft hub from the camshaft taper.
