Particularly useful on VW-Audi 1.9 and 2.0 TDI engines.

This tool is designed to pre-tension the auxiliary belt tensioner when the removal and
installation of the belt is to be performed in situ on the vehicle. THE ideal spanner for
use in areas where space is at a premium.

V-Ribbed Belt Adjustment Tool

(via the alternator)
Suitable for use on 1.4, 1.6 and 2.0 litre VW engines on which the V-ribbed belt
can only be tensioned via the spring-loaded alternator.
(Engine codes: AMF, AXX, BAH, BBY, BBZ, BCA, BHZ, BKR, BKY, BMS, BNM, BNV,
BPY, BUD, BWA, BXW, BZC, CGGB)
Tool features strengthened and fluted pins which allow the tension on the V-ribbed
belt to be released. The special fluted design prevents the pins from slipping out of
the alternator boreholes.

Holding Tool
Applications: VW Polo, Golf, Passat and Audi A4, etc. 6
Designed to counter-hold the pulley on the power steering pump.
Advantages:
• The 1/2“ drive in the tool handle enables the tool to be extended, for example by a
ratchet.
• Facilitates the loosening of stubborn fastening screws on the pulley.

Water Pump Holding Tool
Applications: VW-Audi etc.
Designed to counter-hold deep-drawn water pump pulleys that are used when an
air conditioning system is installed. For example necessary when loosening and
tightening the fastening screws on the pulley.

Advantages:
• Safe locking of the water-pump pulley via the fastening screws.
• Facilitates the loosening of stubborn fastening screws on the water pump pulley.
