professionalism, but passion. It is the reason they say, ‘make your passion your
profession.’ Do not do what only puts money in your pocket, do what puts smiles on your
face. Do what fills the emptiness in your soul. If you do it heartily, it will put both money
in your pocket, and smiles on your face. Do not let your primary focus be money if you
are looking for a career to create for yourself. Make up your mind to meet needs first, and
passionately commit to it. Money will follow, it will flow ceaselessly.
What have you always wanted to do? What dreams are impossible to take out of your
heart? What is it that you heal most, solve best? What do others see in you? Where do
you bring out the best result? What do you find a peace of mind about doing? What gives
you joy and satisfaction? Where do you always want to be? etc. The answers to these
questions will give you a pointer to what to do. That is where your passion lies, it is where
you should go, and what you should do. Do not settle for anything less, if you like it, and
you want it, then you will get it. You will get there; where there is a will, there is always a
way.
Your passion will get you to start, it will propel and keep you moving against all odds.
Your passion will keep you motivated, ventilated, focused, and committed. It keeps you
going when others are dropping out, it fires new ideas into your mind, keeps your
adrenaline pumping and even when you feel you have done enough, it keeps you thirsty
for more. Do not be in a hurry, take time to find that niche, and when you do, zero-in on
it, it is your path to fulfillment, and you will be glad you did.
Reflection
“Everything has its high and low moments, what keeps you going at
the low moments is not just professionalism, but passion.”
