which God prepared in advance for us to do.’

Ephesians 2:10

That’s exciting! God wants his people to make a difference for good in his world.
What he has planned for one person will be different to what he has planned for

somebody else, but God can still use each of his children to do good for other
people. You can begin to talk to him about that today. For example,

‘God, I want to make a difference for good in your world. Teach me, and train me,

and show me what to do. In Jesus name, Amen.’

7. Graham Kendrick, a Christian songwriter, has a line in one of his songs, “I want to be
a history maker”. That’s him praying the same thing, “Lord, I want to make a
difference for good in your world. I want to be a history maker.”Do you?

8. Let the children complete the worksheet(s) or write about an invention they

appreciate.

Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

1. The children will appreciate that people have made a difference for good in
the world and to be grateful to God for them.

2. The children should be encouraged to seek to make a difference for good in

the world.
