HOW MAY I HELP?
Truth to Teach (Source)
Ephesians 6:7 ‘With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men;’
To reinforce different areas of serving.
To learn vocabulary associated with various occupations.
Way to Work (Means)
1. Review previous lessons.
2. Suggest to the children that we are going to try to find an occupation beginning
with every letter of the alphabet to show the wide variety of jobs.
E.g. artist, builder, carpenter, dentist, engineer, farmer ……
3. Let the children cut out the slips to match on to the worksheet. More able
children could write their own alphabetical list of jobs. Some may find more
than one job for each letter.
4. End by thanking God for the people who work in our school and for parents who
work to earn money for the families.
Learning for Life (Fulfilment)
1. The children should be more familiar with various occupations.
2. It is hoped that they will have an increased desire to serve others just as
Jesus did.
