                6. Lessons 11-12 could be devoted to the improved transport system:-

                               Penny-farthing bicycles

                               Hot-air balloons

                               Cars
                               Trams

                               Canals
                               Hansom cabs
                               Horse-drawn carriages
                               Ships

The children could work in pairs or groups selecting one or more of the forms
of transport to produce writing, pictures, etc. At the end of the last lesson,
                   these could be shared.

                7. End the project by thanking God for the men and women he used to invent
things which have enhanced our lives.

            Learning for Life (Fulfilment)

                1. The children should be aware of, and grateful for, the legacy left to us by the
Victorians. They will have noted the negative aspects of Victorian life too.

                2. They will have recognised the gifts and talents used by men and women to
invent such a wide variety of things.

                3. They will hopefully see the need for us all to use the gifts God has given to us
                    to bless others.
