1. The children should appreciate that God’s family is international and that Jesus
died to save people from every nation.

2. The children should recognise that they live in a nation and should be introduced
to its heritage and how Christianity was introduced to it.

3. The children will recognise the continents and places in the UK on a map.

4. The children will hopefully be inspired to pray for the nations.

5. They may be open to serve practically by raising funds for a poorer nation.
