Accreditation Procedure: Steps to Accreditation
Nomination by Training Provider, NF, RF, IF & NOC,
selection by OSEP
Attend 3 days Educator Course & 3 days SiC or 2 days CC&O
Withdraw Co-delivery/
further training
Licensed to deliver OSEP courses for 2 years
License renewal is based on:
1. Evidence of delivery & administration of courses
2. Training reports in place
3. Support of Training Provider, NF, RF, IF and NOC.
4. Endorsement by OSEP
How is OSEP implemented?
OSEP is implemented through a Sport Education Training Provider who recruits and trains
sport volunteers and professionals (e.g. coaches, administrators, technical officials etc.) in
partnership with organisations delivering sport activities e.g. national and/or regional
(sport) federations (NF), National Olympic Committees (NOC), ministry or department of
sports, clubs, associations and community organisations.
What are the outcomes?
1. Increased quality sport activities and events in the communities
2. Quality Sport Organizations
3. Training pathway created for competent coaches, administrators and technical
officials
4. Coordinated sport education system linking recreational sport, talent
development and elite
