Details of the proposed event
The National Touch League is Australia’s and the world’s premier elite
tournament, attracting the best players in all divisions to compete in the
2 week event. The event details include:
Permits (regions/states)
Twelve permits from all over Australia participate in the National Touch
League, in all divisions. These permits are:
1. North Queensland Cyclones
2. Southwest Razorbacks
3. Brisbane City Cobras
4. Gold Coast Sharks
5. Northern NSW Bandits
6. Hunter Hornets
7. Sydney Rebels
8. Sydney Scorpions
9. Southern Suns
10. Riverina Rivals
11. Barbarians (NT, WA)
12. Crusaders (ACT, TAS, VIC).
Divisions
• Under 18s (men’s, women’s and mixed)
• Opens (men’s, women’s and mixed)
• Over 30s (men’s, women’s and mixed)
• Over 35s (men’s and women’s)
• Over 40s (men’s, women’s)
• Over 45s (Men’s)
• Over 50s (Men’s).
Total number of teams: 180
Total number of players and support staff: approximately 3060
(over a 2 week period).
