Course Content
Participants will attend a seven (7) working days OSEP Master Educator Course at a central
venue.
The training develops the skills needed to plan and deliver training sessions to groups and
individuals.
The Assessor Skill Set provides the knowledge necessary to assess individual effectiveness.
Participants attending the OSEP Master Educator course will be provided with a sound
understanding of how adults learn. It will teach participants how to design their training
sessions and how to use assessment strategies and tools to measure performance. The
course also addresses the importance of communication and feedback in managing
performance and positive student outcomes.
Successful completion of this training will certify graduates as OSEP Master Educators.
Assessment
To be accredited as an OSEP Master Educator, the participants need to complete the
following:
1. 100% attendance during the face to face training
2. Achieve competency for all the assessment tasks during the training
3. Deliver an OSEP Educators course OR produce evidence of delivering one of the
OSEP courses and coaching OSEP educators
4. Refer an RCC and participate in a moderation or validation activity within your
license.
The summative assessment will ensure that the following criteria are met:
• The course is well- organised and the OSEP Master Educator is thoroughly prepared
• The OSEP Master Educator is delivering the OSEP material to the standard required
ensuring all content is covered.
• The OSEP Master Educator is able to deliver the OSEP Educator course in a real- life
situation from the preparation, marketing, delivery, right through to the assessment
and accreditation phase.
• The OSEP Master Educator follows all Quality Assurance processes in place such as
student record- keeping and assessment procedures
