               Roles	   and	   Responsibilities	   of	   an	   OSEP	   Master	   Educator	   


               Role	   Title:	    Oceania	   Sport	   Education	   Program	   (OSEP)	   Master	   Educator	   

               Reports	   to:	   

                       In	   country	   –	   the	   OSEP	   Coordinator	   in	   country	   and/or	   NOC	   Secretary	   General,	   Chief	   
                       Executive	   Officer	   and/or	   Training	   Provider	   Director	   
               	       External	   –	   OSEP	   Coordinator,	   ONOC	   
               	   

               Purpose:	   


                   1.  To	    co-  ordinate	    the	    supervision	    of	    OSEP	    courses	    in	    the	    country	    of	    residence	    and	   
                       establish	    long-  term	    partnership	    with	    an	    in	    country	    Training	    Provider	    (registered	   
                       institute	   with	   relevant	   authorities),	   NOC	   and	   NF	   
                   2.  To	    train	    and	    supervise	    OSEP	    Educators	    delivering	    community	    and	    club	    courses	    in	   
                       their	   countries	   of	   residence.	   
                   3.  To	    refer	    all	    Recognition	    of	    Current	    Competency	    (RCC)	    assessments	    to	    OSEP	    when	   
                       required	   
                   4.  To	   assist	   OSEP	   Coordinator	   with	   validation	   and	   moderation	   activities

                       Educator	   needs	   
                   •  Leads	   by	   example	   providing	   a	   role	   model	   for	   all	   OSEP	   Educators	   
                   •  Applies	   leadership	   in	   the	   management	   of	   conflict	   by	   applying	   constructive	   strategies	   
                       that	   result	   in	   positive	   outcomes	   
                   •  Supports	   OSEP	   Educators	   with	   guidance	   on	   their	   training	   and	   assessing	   tasks	   
                   •  Provides	   feedback	   to	   Educators	   on	   the	   positive	   behaviours	   and	   outcomes	   
                   •  Provides	   constructive	   feedback	   to	   Educators	   regarding	   areas	   that	   need	   improvement	   
                       in	   a	   timely	   and	   tactful	   way	   
                   •  Oversees	   the	   quality	   of	   OSEP	   programs	   delivered	   by	   Educators	   
                   •  Reports	   to	   their	   OSEP	   Mentor	   or	   the	   Zone	   Coordinator	   or	   OSEP	   Coordinator	   (at	   that	   
                       particular	   point	   in	   time)	   any	   anomalies	   or	   issues	   they	   cannot	   resolve	   constructively	   	   
                   •  Supports	   Educators	   in	   their	   career	   goals	   within	   OSEP
