November 2019 Ground breaking

In response to the ever-growing need for
affordable housing, Samaritas has helped fill the gap
in Southeast Grand Rapids. The historic St. Joseph's
Seminary, located in the heart of Garfield Park at 600
Burton St SE, has been converted into 53 affordable
living units for seniors. The renovated building will Pinnacle
be known as Samaritas Affordable Living of Grand Construction
Rapids. Additionally, the old gymnasium will house hard at work
the new Samaritas West Michigan Child and Family
Campus. Along with Mayor Rosalynn Bliss and various
West Michigan elected officials, we are thrilled to
ceremonially open this building through a ribbon
cutting on November 20, 2020.
