Science Fair

On April 28 2017, SKIS had a science fair from grade 1 to 6. This event was held in the Assembly hall, basketball court and Cafeteria.
22 teachers had their own booths and groups of students moved around the places. And Chinese teachers helped G1 students to do
activities. For the lower grade booths, there were ‘Ring Flyer’, ‘Mini Fire Extinguisher’, ‘Paper Robot’, ‘Making PS Key holder’, ‘Finger Prints’,
‘Solar System Bracelet’, ‘Thermo-color’, ‘Eggsperiment’, ‘Oobleck-cornstrarch’, ‘Hidden principle of sugar candy’, ‘map coloring’. For the
upper grade booths, there were ‘Vacuum box’, ‘Water density’, ‘Skippy Tower’, ‘Elephant foam’, ‘Making Ice-cream’, ‘Floating paper clip’,
‘Making Rubber Ball’, ‘Optical Illusion’, ‘Static Electricity’, ‘Erupting Volcano’.
Most students enjoyed and had fun their team work during the event. At the science fair, each class divided into two groups and moved
around different courses where we got to do different fun activities.
Every activity was made to better understand the principles of science. Through this event, we could learn and experience many fun
things. All activity was enjoyable and enough to stimulate the curiosity of the children.
