Grade 3 International Exchange
Grade 3 spent a wonderful two days exchanging culture, arts, music, dance, and fun activities with Lianhua Primary School.
Lianhua visited SKIS first. We divided up the groups with each student getting a partner. This allowed grade 3 to share one on
one with their Lianhua counterpart. SKIS introduced Lianhua to traditional Korean masks called tal. The students were able to
color and decorate authentic Korean masks! After a snack filled with Choco pies and other delicious Korean snacks, the students
played tag, as seen on the popular Running Man show. And before we knew it, it was time for our Lianhua friends to depart.
The next day we joined Lianhua at their school. Grade 3 attended English, Math, and Science classes just like a regular student.
Grade 3 explored the wonderful history of Lianhua, and explored the gardens and ponds on campus. Lianhua even provided
us with goodie bags full of Lianhua items so that we wouldn’t forget the new friends that we made and the fun times at
international exchange.
