International Exchange

Grade 4 International Exchange
In this wonderful school cultural exchange with Elias Park Primary School, SKIS Grade 4 students enjoyed this amazing journey with their
new friends through music, arts, sports and other fun-filled activities.
The first visit was from Elias Park Primary. Students were divided into groups and paired up accordingly to an assigned number. A brief
presentation was done to introduce the main two activities of playing the Running Man, a popular Korean game and painting of traditional
Korean masks. During break time, the students got to enjoy the Korean snacks of Choco Pie and Bulgogi seaweed. It was a pleasant
experience for students to interact among themselves within a short period.
On the second visit, we were warmly welcomed at Elias Park Primary School. SKIS students enjoyed the programme of singing a Malay
folk song and learning to play angklung (traditional Malay musical instrument) with their new friends. During recess, there was catered
Singaporean food in the auditorium for all. Following that, they had a wonderful classroom experience and played table-tennis in the sports
hall. A souvenir was given to each SKIS student to remember about this amazing journey and the new friendship made.
Overall, SKIS students gained the opportunity to interact and share similar interests with their new Singaporean friends.
