Experimental Methods & Materials: What type of research was done? You must use
ONE qualitative and ONE quantitative method – refer to the guidelines for form
info.
Qualitative:
The qualitative data will be extracted from interviews with students after a
demonstration of viral marketing. The content of the interviews will consist of
structured feedback about their opinions, suggestions, and feelings regarding their
experience with viral marketing. As there will be a variety of results, each unique
from one another, the data collected will be qualitative and will also allow the
researchers to contextualize the impact of viral marketing towards its consumers.
Quantitative:
The amount of products sold when promoted through viral marketing and the
numerical feedback from the students who bought the item regarding their
satisfaction with the item and the overall interest in the product. The number of
the amounts sold can show an objective statistic that represents the amount of
people who are drawn in by viral marketing. The survey will allow the researcher
to deeply analyse the level of appeal of the items that are promoted through viral
marketing.
2. Experiment:
Background: Money to donate for Covid-19
Hypothesis: will be placing a small refrigerator at the hallway with a collection box
students can buy the drinks with money and put the money into the box, the survey
will be done by QR code pasted next to the refrigerator.
Variables: stealing drinks/snacks
