period in the 1890s, had a hard time keeping the journalism fair and balanced.
Politicians kept close relations with the press, and it was often for the newspapers

3. Experimental Methods
Aim of the Experiment
We did a survey on the skis students and the public about their thought of media
bias such as what kind of media bias. The aim of the experiment is to find out how
teenagers change after viewing the biased media and what kind of media does.
Quantitative Method (Surveys)
We have conducted the survey to research people’s general perspective for the
media bias on the platforms such as Youtube-워크맨, Facebook-인사이트, and
Newspaper-New York Times. All the surveys have been conducted with students of
Singapore Korean International School. With the result of this survey, we will be
able to infer how many students think that there is a media bias and which type
of media content that they think most biased.
Hypothesis about the results of the survey
As teenagers are the main users of SNS (Social Network Service) like Facebook and
Youtube etc, which are very trendy to teenagers nowadays, we assume that they
have some perspective when they use those platforms. Since recent articles and
research about the negative effects of biased media say that media bias is
negatively affecting teenagers, the results of the survey would tell us that lots of
teenagers might be affected by media bias. A possible response might be that
majority of students agree on the media bias of such SNS and many of them could
experience of change of their thought after viewing such biased media.
Qualitative Method
We will ask the questions to find what kind of media content is attractive to
teenagers and the reason behind it. All responses will be collected from students
