Our group wishes to raise awareness about the prevalence of the existence of

media bias. It is more common than we think it is. We would like to focus on the

               cases in America

               Media Bias - Race

We are always surrounded and connected by the media. We are able to know what

is happening across the world with just a touch. But, not all the things in the media

can be bright. One thing that we can usually see in the media is people having a

biased opinion about another race. We can know when a person is biased or not

when someone writes or expresses their thoughts that offenses the other race or

siding their own race. This can occur in the news, social media, or other platforms

that can express ideas freely. These people who show racism through the media is

a type of racism called, “cyber-racism.” They are disturbed into two groups, people

who work individually and people who work in a group.

People who work individually usually do it to offend or hurt others. They get along

with other individuals that think alike to seek, “confirmation bias.” It can be seen

on blogs, gaming platforms, chatting platforms, etc.

The way they do it is by using power and privilege like freedom of speech as a

way to express their racism. They also reframe the current news about an issue

related to race and make it bad. Unfairly criticizing the other race is basically what

               they do.

People who work in groups usually communicate through their own websites,

forums, or games. They are different from the people who do it individually as they

plan what they are going to write or say beforehand. They have a more persuasive

tone and softer tone than the individuals. They do this to get a supporter through

racist propaganda. The similarity between individual and group is that they want
