                단계                 교재                                        지도방법


                                                          Instead  of  asking  parents  to  buy  a  book  this
                                                        year,  the  teacher  will  issue  a  printed-out
                                                        booklet  to  each  student  every  month.  These
                                                        booklets  are  thematic  and  follow  the  year
                                                        based  on  seasons  and/or  holidays,  making  the
                                                        learning  more  relevant  for  the  children  in  the
                                                        class.  In  addition,  these  booklets  are
                                                        multi-faceted:  they  focus  on  English  language
                K1                                      (phonics  and  small  stories),  simple  math  skills,
                 &                                      and  tactile  skills  such  as  cutting/pasting,
                K2                                      writing,  and  matching.

                                                          These  booklets  gradually  get  a  little  more
                                                        challenging  each  month,  while  at  the  same
                                                        time  being  systematic  enough  for  the  students
                                                        to  work  semi-independently  with  occasional
                                                        help  from  the  teacher.  This  will  build  their
                                                        sense  of  autonomy  and  their  confidence  levels
                                                        in  English.

                                                          To  develop  positive  growth  in  relationship  with
                                                          peers,  adults  and  the  environment

                                                          develop  and  strengthen  their  fine  motor  skills

                                                          The  teacher  introduces  new  content  by  using
                                                          visual  aids  and  music.  Some  examples  are
                                                          controlled  language,  labeling  with  pictures,
                                                          vocabulary  word  banks,  flash  cards,  and
                                                          discussions.
                                                          Hands  on  activities  such  as  sensory  play,  craft
                                                          work  and  music  and  movement  will  help  to
                                                          promote    language    development.    Coloring
                                                          workbook  (a  to  z)  and  (1  to  10)  is  an  important
                                                          pre-writing  activity  to  help  promote  fine  motor
                                                          skills.
