           The other semi-final was a keenly contested local derby as John Pye, Debbie Sparham &            25
           Jon Sparham went down by just one shot to Chris Mann’s triple. Sparham led 4-3 but a
           dropped three on the next end turned the game in Mann’s favour.
                 Hempnall take home Potters Shield

                                                                                       spite Barley’s best efforts
                                                                                       the Hempnall triple kept
                                                                                       in front. In the semi-finals

           Hadler & Terry Smith of Kent by 7-6.
                 Terry Smith’s triple led by two shots with two ends remaining but Baker pulled one back on
           the penultimate end and scored two shots on the last to win. In the other semi-final Derek Barley’s
           triple were awarded a walkover against Thelma Price, John Price & Alan McCallum when the skip
           misread the start time of the semi-finals and left the arena.
                 Despite a desperate search for him he could not be located in time to play the match and his
           playing partners made the decision to forfeit the game. The coveted Most Relaxed Triple prize
           went to Barry Barsby, Pauline Barsby & Brian Knappett of Harling Rec.
                  We’re in the money!
           The  Potters  Cash  Pairs  was  won  by
           Wymondham’s  Jack  Pye  &  Debbie
           Sparham  who  collected  the  £100  first
           prize winning all their games with a +48
           shot difference.
                 Going  into  the  final  session  three
           pairs were in the race for the first prize but
           Jack Pye & Debbie Sparham turned up
           the heat as they raced to a terrific 18-0
           win.
                 In second place were East Tudden-
           ham’s Geraldine Potter & Wymondham’s                     Potters £100 Cash Pairs winners

           with  +35 shots Jon had to settle for sec-
           ond  place  behind  his  high  scoring  wife.                    with Mark Brewer
           Hayley Stratton & Chris Mann of Wymondham finished one point behind the top two on points
           with a +42 shots that earned them third place. Barbara & Colin Hadler of Kent went into the last
           session on maximum points but a 6-6 draw left them in fourth place with a +26 shot difference.
