I know it’s over 12 months away but this ad-
vance notice is for our first Short Mat week-
end event, which will be held at the Derwent
Hotel in Torquay, 17th - 20th November 2017
and places may well be snapped up at the
special launch price of just £169 for 3 nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.
The Bowling plan will start with a Pairs event on Friday afternoon,
which continues on Saturday. On Sunday we start with a Triples competition
with both events starting on a round robin basis so you get as many games

as we can fit in.
There will also be a fun bowls drive on Friday evening and a 2-bowl
after dinner Singles on the Saturday & Sunday evening, also starting on a
round robin basis. The Pairs and Triples final will be after breakfast on Mon-
day morning. We can match up single players with partners and can do so
with the triples as well, so we don’t need exact teams.
We have a limited number of rooms, including a very limited number
of singles, so it’s first come first served. You can enter as many events as
you want at £2 per player per event for the Singles, Pairs & Triples and all

entry fees will be paid out as prize money.
