entering they were divided in to 8 groups of 6 with everyone play-
ing each other. Group winners and runners up went through to the
             knock out stages.
We pick up the action in the semi-finals with Defending
Champion Matt (Reepham Robins) vs Phyllis (Kenninghall) the
other draw was Sue (Reepham Robins) vs Ray (Aubugh).
The early ends between Matt and Phyllis were exchanged
with the score 1-2 after 3 ends played with the Champion behind
but managing to pick up a 2 fol-
lowed by 2 scores of 3 the game
                                               was over with Phyllis conceding
the game. The other game be-
tween Sue and Ray was a very
close affair but with Ray always being in control managed to
hold on and see out the victory.
The final was between Matt and Ray. On the First end:
Matt starting off the better holding 2 until his last wood was too
heavy cutting it back to 1. 2nd end: was pretty much a repeat
of the 1st and again Matt manages to be holding 3 this time but
Ray does a good running shot to cut it down to 1 2-0
3rd End: little bit better from Ray making some good draws
but again it is Matt that wins the battle and manages to steal
another 1. 3-0 4th End: Matt starts off well and is holding Ray
pushes it back but Matt does 2 good draws to make it a count
                  Norfolk Singles of 2. 5-0
Champion Matt Frost 5th End: Good exchange this end with the jack being
             moved about with Ray
             holding Matt manages
to draw in to take the
             end and Ray could not
             reply. 6-0. 6th End: Matt
is a little heavy with his
             first 2 woods and Ray
             makes him pay.
                   Matt draws in but
is still down 1. Ray can’t
             make it 2 again. Matt
             with a good running shot
             pushes the jack to the
back of the carpet to Norfolk County Pairs Finalists left, Winners Right
             hold 2.
