There were 15 entrants for this year’s
singles competition. Bowlers were divided into three groups of four with a further group of three
for the round robin series of
matches.
Except for the group of
three, all matches in the
competition were to be of 10
ends with the three bowlers
in group four playing 15
ends. The top two from
each group would then go
forward to a quarter final
knockout stage. A summary
of the round robin series of
matches is set out on the
right.
In the quarter finals
knockout stage there were
wins for Richard, Cayman,
Johnathon and Malcolm
with these bowlers going
forward to the semi-final
stage. Richard won his semi
against Malcolm and
Johnathon won his match
against Cayman.
In the final Johnathon
comfortably beat Richard to
become the County Singles
Champion for 2019/20. Both
Johnathon and Richard will
go forward to the ESMBA
National Finals.
