Jr. Police Academy
The East Brunswick Police Department will be conducting its 14th Annual Youth Police Academy. The Academy can
accommodate 30 cadets and includes a final graduation ceremony on the last day.
This one-week program will provide an excellent opportunity for young members of the community to get a better
understanding of how the East Brunswick Police operates and how the police officers serve and protect the community. Each
cadet will have opportunities to enjoy team building activities and learn a great deal about respect and tolerance while having
fun. The program also includes a field trip to a local law enforcement site, such as the New Jersey State Police Museum or
equivalent.
Online registration for the Academy starts on April 1 via https://www.eastbrunswick.org/Junior-Academy. Once registered,
complete the Applicant Packet and email it to the Community Policing Unit. A separate application is required for each person
registered.
Registration MUST be completed by May 10.
Due to high expected applicants and the limited class size, cadets who are new to the program may be accepted over
previous graduates. If you have any questions, please contact the Community Policing Unit at communitypolicing@ebpd.net.
