LGBT Subcommittee

Outreach
The LGBT Subcommittee is committed to providing support and continued communication
regarding its programming and activities to LGBT law student groups.

The LGBT subcommittee created a presentation that contains information that would be beneficial
to organizations that work with LGBT groups or allies of these groups on LGBT law-related topics.
An attorney referral directory was included in the presentation.

The presentation was mailed to the nine self-help centers in Louisiana in the following judicial

Programming
A webinar titled LGBT Legal Issues: Louisiana and Nationally, Best Practices and Tools for
Working with Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Clients and Staff was held on February
24, 2022.
