READING AND WRITING WORKSHEET

over the years. This is how scientists use diagrams to understand
and communicate complex information about our world. That’s the
power of visuals! Today, we’re going to explore different types of
visuals that help us understand and communicate information quickly
and effectively. We’ll learn about diagrams, flowcharts, tables, and
graphs. These tools are used everywhere, from science textbooks to
                       newspaper articles.

                       A. Diagram
A diagram is a visual representation of a system, concept,
or relationship. Diagrams can be used to illustrate a variety of
things, such as organizational structure or relationships between
elements in a system. Diagrams typically use symbols and images
                          to represent the elements involved.

                          General Characteristics
                          1. Abstraction: Diagrams focus on essential elements, omitting
                              unnecessary details.
                          2. Relationships: They highlight connections and relationships
                              between different components.

                          3. Clarity: Effective diagrams are clear and easy to interpret.

                          4. Conciseness: They provide information efficiently, without
                              unnecessary clutter.
                          5. Types of Elements: Diagrams often include shapes, lines,
                              arrows, text, and symbols.

                          6. Color: Color can be used to differentiate elements, emphasize
                              information, or improve visual appeal.
