“Elsa & Fred” had me in tears and laughing out loud many
times. Plummer does a great job playing the role of a nearly
dead but still alive man who lives without purpose and happi-
ness. MacLaine is full of vigor throughout the movie, playing a
hip and energetic woman who needs a sense of purpose to get
through the day.
The greatest thing about the movie is it provides hope for love
no matter the age. I recommend this movie to anyone who loves
romantic comedies.
“Fred & Elsa” is rated PG-13 for brief strong language.
