Welcome from the Head
Welcome to our Summer 2025 Edition of The Badger. As 2025 sees us celebrating 125 years of The Downs and 100 years of The Downs Light Railway (DLR), this edition contains some extra features, reflecting the rich history of the school and notably the foundations and influence provided by the first five Headmasters of this special school.
Ivery much hope you enjoy reading about the origins of our ethos and traditions as well as our current pupils’ many achievements and successes over the past year.
