Full participation of MoFALI Minister and his cabinet including DGs
and head of international cooperation, heads of agencies - GAVS,
Commodity Exchange, UN Resident Coordinator, heads and
members of NAMAC, MALI and all Dundgobi authorities including
Governor, soum Governors from 6 aimags, etc actively participated.
● Technical trainings were conducted for RDILI experts and
private sector engineers, technicians, and operators during the
project implementation period. Please see more details under
Output 2.3.3 below.
● A market survey was conducted on leather and fibre goods
buyers in cooperation with Foreign Trade and Economic
Cooperation Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There
were 34 survey respondents from South Korea, Singapore,
China, Canada, India, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Russia,
Germany, Sweden, Bangladesh, Belarus, Vietnam, the
Netherlands, and Mongolia.
● “Knitwear fashion and design” training with purpose of
Activity 2.3.1.3: Train improving skills of product development and creativity was
technical and marketing conducted on 28 Sep - 6 Oct 2020. The training was attended
personnel. by 18 designers from 10 knitting factories. As a result,
trainee’s knowledge and skills on design and knitting
technology improved by 29%. From the training, 9 teams led
by 2 coaches were formed to produce garment collections for
