Entry Visa

1.Visa Type:
There are four types of visa depending on the entry purpose and identity of the
applicant. For degree students, please apply for Resident Visa. If you are only

granted for Visitor Visa, make sure the Remarks indicating “FS” for “Foreign
Student”.
(RESIDENT VISA: A long-term type of visa. The duration of staying in Taiwan is

usually more than 180 days.)
2.Entry Before / Valid Until:
The deadline to use this visa. For example, Valid Until / Entry
Before APRIL 8, 2019 means this visa expires after April 8, 2019.
