If the club lies across the heel of the hand
instead of under the heel, it will require
increased pressure from the last three
fingers to prevent the club from moving
during the swing. In reality, it is unlikely that
the golfer will have enough strength in the
left hand to prevent this movement and
when the brain senses movement it will
respond by increasing the right-hand pressure.
If the left hand is rotated too far to the left, it
will be under the club and will almost always
be accompanied by a right-hand position that
is rotated too far to the left, the results of
which are listed below. Also, when the hands
are in this position, they may rotate to the
right during the swing, which will open the
club face, and cause high fades.
