If the end of the grip is too far
down into the palm, the last three
fingers of the left hand will be
forced to grip too tightly, often
resulting in tendonitis in the left
elbow.
If all of the other elements are in place and the end of the
club is not under the left wrist, the left wrist is probably
cupped. The problem with this is that if the clubface is square
at address and the left wrist is flat at impact, the clubface at
impact will automatically be open.
