Grilled
                                     Gulf shrimp




                                         Ingredients




               2 lbs medium or large shrimp
               ½ cup butter
               ½ cup olive oil
               3 minced garlic cloves
               3 tbsp minced parsley or cilantro
               2 tbsp lime juice

                                         Lagniappe



               Skewer, 6 to 8 shrimp on a wooden skewer.

               Melt the butter in a pan and add the other ingredients except the lime, heat
               till just bubbly.

                Place the shrimp a shallow dish and baste with the garlic butter.

               Place on grill and cook till shrimp are pink (about 3 minutes), baste and turn
               shrimp till they are firm, baste before taking off grill.

                Mix the remaining garlic butter with the lime juice and serve with the
               shrimp as a dipping sauce
