Possible Uses:
This knot is often used for attaching fishing line to a reel
before winding the desired amount onto the spool.
Palomar Knot
The palomar is regarded by many fishermen as one of their
favorite knots.
Pros: This knot works well with a variety of types of fishing
line and doesn’t tend to slip much. The many types of fishing
line available today have different characteristics in terms
of their ability to hold a knot without slipping. Anglers all
over the world like the palomar knot because it can be used
whether they’re just using common monofilament or the
latest high-tech fishing lines.
