Possible Uses:
1. As mentioned before, this knot is commonly used in
mountaineering. If you choose to use it for this purpose,
you should first get training from a qualified instructor.

2. It can be used for similar purposes that the bowline is
used for but it’s considered to be a more secure knot by
many people. For example, serious mountaineers would
never tie into their harness using a simple bowline.
