of an overlap when using thin rope like paracord but
more when using thick rope.

2. Cross the working end on the right side over the stand-
ing part and wrap it behind and around to the top as
illustrated in figure 22b. You’ll see that you’ve created a
wrap around the standing part and the place where the
wrap is now lying looks like the letter “x.”
